Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma.
Typical materials cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper, although other conductive metals may be cut as well. Plasma cutting is often used in fabrication shops, automotive repair and restoration, industrial construction, and salvage and scrapping operations.
Due to the high speed and precision cuts combined with low cost, plasma cutting sees widespread use from large-scale industrial CNC applications down to small hobbyist shops.
We offer custom CNC Plasma Cutting with our 10’ x 20’ Messer Evolution cutting table system. This unit is powered by a state of the art Hypertherm XPR 300. With this unit we are able to produce superior cut quality on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The unit is also capable of marking bend lines, score lines, letter’s, and numbers.
With over 5 plate rolling machines, we have the capability to accurately roll steel, aluminum, copper, brass, exotic plate as well as perforated metal into: cylinders, cylinder segments, patch plate’s, cones, and cone segments.
At Tennille, Inc., our press brake equipment can provide you with exactly what you need for your job. We operate a variety of press brakes that allows us to produce different angles, degrees and designs.
Our band saw is the first step in many of our fabricating jobs. Our band saw can quickly and accurately cut and miter structural beams, pipes, channels, angles, and rods, into different lengths, shapes and sizes.
At Tennille Inc we have access to two water jet tables. Water jet cutting is often used during fabrication of machine parts. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures, or close tolerances.
We employ highly trained and experienced tradesman capable of welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, inconel, hastelloy, titanium, and other exotic metals.
Tennille Inc. has three piranha hydraulic iron worker machines that provide versatility. These units can perform a number of different functions such as punching holes, notching, creating slots in all metals for base plates, connection plates, Z brackets and other products that require this machine.
Shearing is an additional service we offer at Tennille Inc. This machine is one of the first stops for our fabricators. This alternative option is used as a fast and efficient way for cutting plate, perforated and expanded metal down to a desired size.
